(Almost) Wordless Wednesday: Sarasota Bling

I don't usually run for the bling, I much prefer to collect PRs or run with friends, but this is truly a beauty. At 4.5 inches wide, it's apparently the largest finisher's medal in Florida. I can't wait to have this around my neck on Sunday.

Wordless Wednesday: Cold Running

Bundled up for running in 32º weather. I'm wearing Skirt Sports leggings under the Tough Girl skirt, short and long sleeve tech shirts under the windbreaker jacket, buff, headband, skull cap, and gloves. I had a very nice and hilly 4.5 mile run -- great training for Ocala.

My co-worker loves spreading cheer and always does a great job decorating the office for all occasions. The first 3 photos are of my festive office. The last 3 photos are ornaments on our tree at home. Inspired by this post, I turned our duplicate medals into ornaments! I can't believe I never thought of this before.

Wordless Wednesday: Oh Christmas Tree

It's been a while since we've put up a Christmas tree. I think the last time was when we lived in the house. Ever since we moved into the apartment downtown, we usually just put up a tiny fake tree because we're usually too busy traveling to bother. But Jason really wanted a real tree this year, so he rode his bike to pick up a little one 2 weekends ago and we got the place decorated. I resisted it at first, but it was nice getting out the bows and ornaments again. It's definitely not little, but we made it work.
